Chandra Smith, MSW
Chandra graduated from Mount Mary University with her Bachelor of Arts in 2015 and Loyola University in 2016 with her Master of Social Work (MSW). Chandra is currently practicing as a school counselor assisting elementary school and middle school scholars. Fun fact: Chandra loves ice cream.
Chandra has worked with a variety of different agencies in Milwaukee County serving those suffering from mental health issues, substance abuse issues, housing concerns, or homelessness, brain injuries, the incarcerated, juveniles released from incarceration, vulnerable children, and adults who have been abused and/or neglected and elementary, and middle school scholars who suffer from behavioral issues, depression, and or anxiety.
Chandra has experience in many different areas including substance abuse, and primary care provider locating, individual skill enhancement, and development, medication management, money management, employment ready skills, leadership skills, communication skills, active listening skills, conflict resolution skills, and housing locating experience. Chandra also enjoys using the strengths-based approach.
Chandra’s goal is to provide additional support for individuals, assist them in building their independence, in accessing needed services, and in becoming the best version of themselves.
